In Hollywood parlance, “post-production” refers to the studio magic that film editors work after shooting is complete. This is when they edit scenes, add CGI and music, and tune audio, and with a deft touch one can completely change a movie’s tone or quality without any reshoots. This is perhaps one of the best examples of how important post-production is as we watch ol’ Ben Kenobi face Darth Vader in a truly impressive remix of their legendary lightsaber duel.
This is six minutes of pure movie magic. Grab some popcorn and enjoy!
